    Dear Mr. Dezza,
It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Carlos Alfredo Flores, and I am from El Salvador, Central America. I am studying a degree in history at the University of El Salvador. Currently, I am working on my thesis of graduation. My topic on research is the children of civil war in El Salvador. I intend to work with photographs as historical sources. I found a bbc article with your photos, so I thought you could help me. In order to work on my thesis, I need 15 photos whose subjects had to be soldier children involved in the war and civil children who lived the Salvadorean war. The metadata of the photos must contain data on the places where the photos were taken, they have to belong to a specific place, and they must include the date when they were taken, also if they must include the guerrilla group the combatant children belonged to or the branch of the army if it is possible. As you can see this is the reason I am contacting you about. I know that you have the photos that I need for my thesis and I need your help in the sense that you might want a permit to have access to this treasure of history of my country to do a research on the topic that has not really been studied in depth. I apologize for the inconvenience, but I would be really very grateful if you were to give me a hand. I study at the University of El Salvador, but here we don´t have an archive on such sources, and the few photos I have found lacked all this data. Thank for your help and thanks for reading my message. My e-mail is nemosis32@yahoo.com.mx

    Best regards
